Kuiu builds the Attack from a 247 g/m² Primeflex polyester with four-way stretch and rates it water resistant and abrasion resistant, according to its product page. It has articulated knees, a gusseted crotch, two mesh hip vents, and zippered cargo and seat pockets. A pair weighs 18.5 oz.
The comparison that matters is with Kuiu's own Tiburon. The Tiburon is lighter (147 g/m², 12.5 oz) and built for heat, and Matt's verdict on it is "great for the heat, but you'll feel every thistle." Kuiu gives the abrasion rating to the Attack, not the Tiburon, and Matt's advice is to stick to the Attack.
Kuiu rates the Attack for "Mild" conditions and the Tiburon for "Hot," so on the hottest September days the Attack is the warmer choice. The inseam has 1.5 inches you can let out. Kuiu makes it in Vietnam.
